This shade was a great replacement for the old, yellow one that broke. It features a soft, bright matte white finish. Although it comes with a cap equipped with two holes for pull chains, only the center chain is functional because the opening is too narrow to use the fan chain—at least for my model of fan. Only one problem, careful putting in the rubber adapter. If you push to hard it will drop inside the bottle. Getting it out was a pain! I used a press myself.
