Fabulous and easy to install. However, package should have come with instructions on how the blinds work. I couldn’t figure out how they go up and down and thought that perhaps a string needed to be cut. Fortunately, I didn’t snip anything and just pulled down on them realizing that they go up and down with a simple pull and push of the hand. I saw another person in review s had snipped the cable, rendering them useless. The color brings a lot of warmth to my gray kitchen. I’ve gone ahead and ordered two more for bedrooms.. Christine. This one-way heat control privacy window film provides excellent daytime privacy with advanced technology and highly reflective material. With heat insulation, glare reduction, UV-blocking, keeping your home or office cooler, and saving energy for intense summers. Non-adhesive static cling design makes it easy to install and remove and does not hurt your window glass, so it is ideal for both your DIY projects and rental properties. Reflective technology also gives exterior windows a pleasingly uniform, contemporary look. The outside shows silver inside shows the color you choose. Kindly note that the film cannot provide privacy at night. When the inside light is stronger than the outside at night, the mirror reflective effect will disappear. Installation tips: Before installation, please totally clean the window surface and corners to ensure that there is no dust on them. Remember to remove the protective backing film before applying and spray plenty of water onto the glass surface and static cling side of the window film for adhesion(the more water, the better). After installation, please trim the edges and leave enough gaps between the edge of the film and the window to easily squeeze out the air bubbles.
