I was super excited to finally get the 8qt compared to my 4qt that I've been using for about 20 years now. I only had this now for 4 months found out you have to set it on low or it will burn whatever chili or meats you are cooking in it. I was using it to chili the other day and started to smell something burning. So I looked at the outlet and the cord to find the cord was melting. Waste of money I do not recommend. Randyc. I really do like my Cuisinart Stand Mixer. It has plenty of power for the things I use a mixer for which is mostly cakes. I got a black quilted cover for the mixer to protect it from dust and keep its bowl clean. I had originally wondered how the Robins Egg Blue color would look in a stainless steel and black combo kitchen but it is beautiful. This mixer replaces my old Sunbeam twin beater mixer . I would say this mixer is an upgrade and is more powerful than my old mixer. Im well pleased.. Gary. Allen, TX. Sat Aug 29 2026
