Mid-century charisma meets contemporary chic in this solid wood and upholstered low-profile platform bed. With a touch of rustic charm in its finish, angled frame, splayed legs, and a plush cushioned back to speak to any design style, it is the perfect piece for any bedroom.

I absolutely love the look of this bed but the only problem is that the base is larger then a king mattress and you can see the supporting blanks off of each side of the mattress. Gabrielle. New York, NY. Fri Nov 21 2025

The bed showcases a smooth headboard with extended posts and round tapering legs - details that nod to a mid-century modern design aesthetic. It is constructed from solid and engineered wood with a rich protective finish that further enhances the natural beauty of the wood. The slat roll foundation means there is no need for a box spring - just top with the mattress of your choice (sold separately). Make up with crisp linens for a refined, tailored look.

Beautiful bed frame, however seems like the screws come loose easily. We haven’t had any major problems but something about it doesn’t feel as sturdy as I would have hoped. Very pretty though!. Julie. Catonsville, MD. Wed Aug 26 2026

Restful minimalism. Fresh and fuss-free, this airy bed frame is defined by its clean lines + use of negative space. It’s crafted from stainless steel and features a wooden mattress platform, so you can skip the box spring. A low profile and built-in headboard give you lots of placement options.

I absolutely love this bed! The shipping was very quick and the bed was carefully packaged. Assembly was very simple and only took about 5 minutes. The design is terrific as well.. Dean. Hollywood, FL. Mon Aug 10 2026

The Sapa platform bed makes its case through restraint. With no headboard to draw the eye, what remains is pure structure: a low, clean frame that lets the room breathe around it. It is a design suited to the bedroom that has learned to do without excess. The horizontal profile sits quiet and grounded, leaving the wall behind it open and the floor space uncrowded. Beneath that simplicity, the frame is built entirely from solid wood and assembled using traditional Japanese mortise-and-tenon joinery, hand-crafted joints that interlock without screws or bolts to deliver silent, lasting stability. Reinforced to a 1000 lb capacity, it is far stronger than its spare appearance suggests. A silent slat system holds beneath without creak or shift, and the whole assembles in about 30 to 45 minutes without power tools. The Sapa platform bed asks for very little and gives a great deal in return: a calm, uncluttered foundation for rest.

Hello Im totally in love wth the simplicity of this platform bed frame It is well made and made of solid wood. The color is beautiful I wanted something simple but makes a statement The joinery makes it easy to put together and it totally carries itself with no headboard to take away from the Beautiful wood. It was a bit on the heavy side since it is SOLID WOOD ... but each piece is very straight-forward as to where its suppose to go... after all it just has 4 sides ) I put it together by myself it was a bit of a balancing act... lol ... I had read in reviews that people were complaining that you need two to put it together...you can just lean one of the long sides onto a wall then slide in the two shorter sides and then you slide the two other ends of the short side ... WELLA YOUR BED IS MADE Soo0oo... NO YOU DONT NEED TWO PEOPLE ... I PUT IT TOGETHER SOLO, JUST LIL OLE ME ) Mercedes from OK Change. Mercedes. OK. Sun Oct 04 2026

I’m really happy with this bed frame! I love how beautiful and simple the design is, and it gives my bedroom a clean and cozy look. The assembly was pretty straightforward, and once it was put together, it felt very sturdy and stable I also really like the USB charging port because it’s such a convenient little detail to have right by the bed. Create a relaxed, casual retreat in your bedroom with the Mendon bed frame. Crafted from solid rubberwood, the Mendon features a classic walnut brown finish that complements any color palette. Its low platform and angled, tapered legs are reminiscent of cool, mid-century modern design. Add some crisp white sheets and a plush duvet to complete the look. This bed includes wood slats, which eliminate the need for a box spring.

Shown are the dimensions for the full size bed frame. Without the legs, the width is 56 ⅝ inches, with the legs the width is 58 inches. Under the bed is a hair over 10 inches. Not pictured, but the length was 76 to 76 ½ inches. The quality is a solid 4 out of 5. For the price I paid, under 300, I felt like I got what I paid for. There are some tiny imperfections on the frame, and some moderate imperfections on the plywood slats and support legs. But I dont feel like its going to snap on me or anything. Its a sturdy bed frame, very attractive. The height is perfect for me, gives me a bit of storage room underneath without making the bed too high. The frame wood is a good walnut color, fairly evenly stained with natural appeal. The rounded edges are great, no stabbing my shins. The legs are on the outside, but the gap at the headboard means it doesnt run up against my baseboards. Overall I would recommend the bed! Assembly was fairly easy. I managed it on my own, but it would be easier with two. The only issue with the bed is the freaking wood screws. It comes with an allen key, which every other part of the assembly uses, but every other slat is supposed to be secured with wood screws (the other half are with allen wrench bolts). This feels like seriously cheaping out. The wood screws are probably fine with any sort of drill, but I only own manual screwdrivers and couldnt manage to drive them into the frame. The screws are meant to screw into the hardwood frame which is very difficult by hand. I ended up giving up and just putting tiny felt squares under that half of the slats, to prevent noise. When I get a drill Ill add them in.. Liam. Michigan. Fri Oct 02 2026

Cushioned slats help reduce noise for a quieter sleep environment, while 8.3 inches of underbed clearance offers practical space for storage and easier cleaning beneath the bed for greater everyday convenience.

Definitely needed a rubber mallet to put this together. I have no idea how it’ll come apart without a saw but it is solid!!. Sarah. Mountain Home, AR. Tue Oct 20 2026

Perfect for for what we needed. Super easy to put together. Maybe 1 hour. I know there is a sticky to hold the mattress in place, but a small lip at the end would help to hold in place. We purchased a twin so the mattress is lighter weight. I would get again.. Colleen. Chicago, IL. Mon Sep 07 2026
