Lamps were exactly what I wanted. I was replacing a lamp I broke while moving around the end table I had it sitting on. (Lamp base was glass, so it shattered everywhere) the lamp shade was salvageable but couldnt find a base. When I came across the Pennsylvania table lamp set I found what I was looking for and they also came in the color I was trying to replace. (Turquoise shade). I really like these lamps. However, the first pair I received turned on spontaneously twice in the first 2 weeks. I "chatted" with Wayfair with much back and forth with either an AI assisted chat or maybe a real person at times. At first, they offered me a 10 % refund. Then 20%. Then they insisted they could not send me new lamps unless I returned the damaged ones. The lamps came tightly packed in styrofoam and there was no way I would be able to package the lamps and send them back. And what would that prove? Were they going to check if I was being truthful? I was a frequent customer of Wayfair since 2020. My first purchase was a desk that came damaged. They sent a new one without any problems. With these lamps, I expected the same service. So the chat said it would be "impossible" to send me new lamps without sending back the old ones. I refused and asked to speak to a manager. After a total of at least an hour of back and forth, I said "I am a frequent customer of Wayfair and I did not receive a replacement set of lamps, I would post a negative comment. Well, guess what? Wayfair agreed to send me new lamps. I was happy with the resolution but annoyed it took me so long for Wayfair to do the right thing. I will continue to shop at Wayfair and I have only had the new lamps for one day so hopefully they won't have the same problem.
