Very solid piece of furniture. Assembly directions were easy to follow. Took approximately two hours to assemble with two people. It’s a big piece of heavy furniture and it’s perfect. Assembly was pretty straightforward and feels over engineered. The mattress that comes with it is quite thin but that’s based on my preference ! Takes forever to build but once it’s built it looks great, works well and is easy to pull the bed out and put back in. We got a trifold mattress to go with it and it folds up into the cabinet also. The drawers are slightly small and will probably only fit two pillows nothing else will fit inside the cabinet beside the mattress when it’s folded up so we will have to store some additional pillows some place else. We absolutely love our Mandujano Murphy Bed in the Barnwood finish. After downsizing, we needed our larger office to double as a guest room, and this bed is perfect. We bought the matching mattress thinking we might upgrade it later, but it’s genuinely comfortable. Amazing value! We looked all around for one of these beds to fit into an extra office/guest room. This was about half the price of other furniture stores and it is a perfect addition to the room.
