Solid and well made, but the wood is more reddish in person First impression after opening the box is very good. The nightstand feels solid and the overall quality appears very nice. One thing buyers should know is that the wood color has noticeably more red in it than I expected from the online photos. If you’re trying to coordinate it with other walnut furniture, I would keep that undertone in mind. We got this set of nightstands because our previous ones were too small and didn’t have enough drawer space. This set of two was pretty straightforward to assemble, and the rounded edges add a really nice aesthetic to our bedroom. The nightstand itself is great. Feels sturdy, minimalist mid-century design is just as pictured, and I think it’s a great value for the quality. The issue I had is more of a user error - the color is super reddish. And it was much lighter in person than in photos. For reference I chose the Caramel color. I love these night stands. They come with a lot of the hardware being built internally and you just have to connect some pieces together and then a 14 turn of an allen wrench locks them together. It’s so cool. They are gorgeous! I picked Acorn and the bed I also got from Wayfair was in chestnut and I think they go great together. Also all the drawer tracks being pre installed was fantastic.
