The vanity is very very beautiful just as I suspected. It is solid wood. It came with the drawers already put together. The only thing you had to do was screw the legs onto it. The screws were already in the legs so all you had to do was twist them on. This was a very fine piece of work and will last a very long time as long as you take care of it. It came in 4 boxes and was mostly put together (bonus!) and is very solid. It was so easy to do. Just put the legs on the drawer unit and the table. The shelves need to be attached to the mirror section but that was easy. The hardest part was putting the mirror on the desk, but even that wasn't too bad. All the screw holes lined up perfectly and there weren't any scratches or dents. Someone down graded this because the drawer unit is separate from the desk, but that was what I wanted so it would fit in my little nook.
