Overall the bed is nice. My son really wanted a loft type bed so we chose this one for the look and also based on the good reviews. A lot of people said it was fairly easy to put together. The directions kinda sucked and it was just annoying to put together. Everything was labeled nicely at least. The insert with the Allen type key bolt isn’t our favorite type of securing mechanism but we cut the Allen key and made a drill bit making it a lot easier. Some of the wood pieces weren’t perfect or hollowed out enough. A piece actually came damaged but Wayfair sent out a new one right away, which was much appreciated. It doesn’t feel like the most solid structure. It’s fine to be sleeping on but I did warn my 4 year old not to be jumping or hanging on it. Time will tell how it holds up.. Gina. Ny, NY. This ended up being one of those pieces that takes some patience to put together, but once finished, it really impressed me with the overall quality and sturdiness. The assembly definitely took some time and attention to detail. It took me 3-4 hour to fully complete, mostly because there are a lot of parts and the diagrams can take a little getting used to at first. One of the screws pictured in the instructions didn’t exactly match what came in the hardware bag, but thankfully the numbering system was accurate enough that I was still able to figure everything out without much trouble. My biggest recommendation is to organize all the pieces by their letter labels before starting. That alone will save a lot of time and frustration later. I’d also highly recommend using a drill with an Allen bit because doing everything by hand would take forever. Once I got into the rhythm of it though, the installation process became much smoother. What really stood out to me after it was finished was how sturdy and durable it feels. It does not feel flimsy or cheap once fully assembled. The materials feel solid, the design is unique, and it has a really nice look to it that stands out without being overly flashy. It’s compact enough that it doesn’t overwhelm the room, but it still offers a surprising amount of storage space. We’ve been using it for organizing toys, smaller household items, and general clutter, and it works great for keeping things looking neat and organized For the price, I honestly think it’s a good value considering the size, storage capacity, and how solid it feels once built. It definitely requires patience during assembly, but the finished product feels like something that will hold up well for years instead of needing replaced after a short time.. Nestor. Got this loft bed for my 8 year old daughter. Its perfect for her needs. The desk is a little small (ie short) but it still works. I wanted it more as a study desk. We live in an apartment so the bed firs perfectly. Its low and doesnt take up that much space. Theres also lots of room underneath the bed to crawl around and hide.
