Amazing bed!! Putting it together definitely requires two people but it has very straightforward instructions. At a 140lbs I was able to climb on it and the bed was extremely sturdy. A piece to this bed broke the first week we had put it together. The piece where the child pulls on to get up the ladder is very flimsy and poorly designed. My husband tried to make a new piece 2x of the same part with no success, so finally just made a completely different design for that piece for the bed so it was much stronger to withhold the weight it needed to.
