The item is not solid wood. If you look at the package weight, its clear that I should have caught that sooner, so thats on me. However, the listing appears to be misleading. The piece is hollow and seems to be made of particleboard or a similar composite material with a wood-look veneer or paper laminate covering the surface. To make matters worse, the item arrived with black bugs. I have found at least seven so far. This is extremely concerning, as it raises potential health and infestation concerns. Bringing an item into my home that may contain insects is unacceptable and quite alarming. This situation is especially frustrating because the product was not as advertised, and now there are concerns about pests being introduced into my home. That said, Wayfair has been great throughout this process, and their customer service team is actively working to resolve the matter. I appreciate their responsiveness and efforts to address these concerns.. Rosa Smith. Florida. Mon Oct 26 2026
