Daughter loves the bed. Assembly took a few hours with my husband and I doing it together. Seems sturdy. Stairs are quite steep and slippery so we put stick on non-slip mats on each one which helped a ton! The shelving and storage are awesome!. Talia. RI. Wed Jul 01 2026

Great quality! The good news is I put the bed together by myself. The bad news is that working on it by myself took about 7 hours to complete. The frame is solid the stairs are great, but the instructions while detailed left a little to be desired. The diagrams were on the smaller side and it did not detail if a part had to go on a certain way. The good news is on the occasion I made an error it was easy to correct. My daughter loves this bed. I would put myself through the 7hour build again great bed.. Brittany. Trenton, MI. Mon Sep 14 2026

Was not “sturdy” or “heavy duty” and did not have a high guard rail. It felt cheap, flimsy, and wobbly. The mattress was thicker than the entire guard rail. I do not feel safe letting my daughter sleep in this.. Anonymous. Mon Jul 27 2026

Amazing ladder. We needed a ladder to be able to reach the awkward 1990’s-style “dust ledge” above the front door so that we could actually utilize it, rather than leaving it as an empty space to collect dust. All of the ladder kits we found were very pricey and l couldn’t confirm if the stained colors would match the honey oak colors we have already. So I found this bare ladder kit, which I stained to the color we wanted, then assembled and installed it. It is very sturdy and easy to use. It tucks in close to the wall when not in use. Now we are able to utilize that space above our door with real plants, and legos. I saw some reviews about how it doesn’t take stain properly. As a DIY’er with no wood staining experience other than YouTube University,I had no issues staining it. I did have to stain it twice as the color I picked first was completely wrong. So I stripped and stained it again. No issues. 1010 would recommend this ladder kit.. Jordan. Portland, OR. Mon Nov 02 2026

I love the bed , I put it together mostly by myself, and the instructions are pretty straightforward but it’s easier with 2 people for sure. This bed helped me save a lot of space while sharing a small room with my brother and holds a good amount of clothes , plus I was able to put all my shoe boxes under it . Although it does shake a bit due to me being not being able to bolt it to the wall , it’s very sturdy and holds up the weight of me and my significant other very well. The outlet is definitely also a nice touch. Evan. Brooklyn , NY. Sat Oct 17 2026

Love the bed! Very sturdy! That being said- the number stickers are ridiculous to get off, there are areas where you can see paint marks from darker to white (i got the white option) and the number of screws on the stairs with no screw cover stickers provided makes things look a bit cheap. We carpeted the stairs which I highly recommend doing And be sure to have a 6 inch mattress because our 9 inch was not safe up top so had to order new mattress now.. Stacey. Livonia, MI. Do not purchase this bed. It is flimsy and extremely difficult to assemble. I have never complained to wayfair customer service before today and I am floored this bed can be legally sold. There is no way it has anywhere near the listed weight capacity. I am not comfortable with my 40ish pound child climbing up there, much less sleeping there. I enjoy assembling things and this was a pill and even more disappointing for it to be so shoddy.. Mary. Columbia, SC. Sun Sep 20 2026
