It had 1,000 pieces and 1,000 steps to put it together, but it was pretty easy - just time consuming. It’s quite sturdy feeling and looks great. My only complaint is that the locking mechanism that keeps only one drawer open at a time is kind of loud and clanky. The dresser is very pretty and was relatively easy to put together. However, the back panels were not measured correctly and were a little too long. As well as some of the holes to screw in the drawer railings; holes in the same row don’t seem to be perfectly leveled, causing the drawers to slant or droop a little even though they were installed correctly.
