Absolutely cool! This is the coolest piece of side furniture. The box on top opens and becomes an elevated work surface, it also comes out completely if you want to use it as the box alone. This is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I have many oversized books that are difficult to hold. This was easy to assemble, is very sturdy, very adjustable, holds books securely, and has rollers for moving it around. It slides right up to my reading chair. I'm very happy with it. One thing to note is that the photo is reversed--the tilting book stand is to the left and the small tray is to the right. This might matter if you are bedbound and only have room on one side of the bed. For instance, the tilting function would work for me in my bedroom and would only function as a flat tray. Otherwise it's just what I needed.. G Gardner. Medford, OR. Fri Oct 23 2026
