Overall, I like the unit. It arrived next day and the setup was pretty straightforward. I have 5 other cabinets that are similar but not identical to this one so a lot of the setup was the same. I had to makemake 2 additions to make the cabinet work for me. First, I added legs. I don’t like cabinets that drag on the floor especially when you need a place to put the power cords. Second, I added lights to the glass shelves. The way the unit works. Anything on the two glass shelves device light but if you have a lot of things on those shelves, the light doesn’t fully transmit to the wood shelves. I’ve been reading that the lights tend to die within 30-60 days so let’s see if that happens to me it I have a backup plan to add new lights o I’ll be fine if it does. Overall, a descent unit. This is pretty decent quality. Not high end for sure but perfect for my game room as a display for my statues I paint. When building it, it seems unstable and wobbly but once you put the clips in the back its very solid and stable. I recommend adding self adhesive felt to the bottom of the furniture when building it. The LEDS work well but it could use another set on the second shelves of each section so I am going to add two more strips to mine. The LEDS are also at a very bright white range so I'm replacing the existing ones with 5500k temp lights that will display the colors more correctly. READ THIS FIRST! I can’t believe that none of the reviewers of this item mentioned that you have to peel the film off of every piece of this case! When I opened the box and saw that the pieces were dull and opaque and not crystal clear like the description says, I was just about to close the box up and send it back. Then I noticed a small corner of one of the pieces was peeling, so I pulled on it. There underneath the film is a crystal clear acrylic shelf! There is a film on BOTH sides of each piece, and it’s quite difficult to scrape a corner off big enough to get a grip on the film. And it’s a tedious process to peel ALL of those pieces, but it’s well worth the final outcome! It’s a beautiful, sturdy, very spacious, crystal clear display case. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the doors don’t close securely- they just swing back & forth loosely. I gave this 5 stars, but not because of ease of assembly; it is difficult and definitely requires 2 people. However, considering it's 6 sheets of tempered glass, it's not going to be easy. It did, however, go together properly. Parts were bagged and labeled well. There are some spare parts, but not many, so be careful, especially with the little teflon washers and rubber o-rings. The o-rings have to be stretched over metal things with a groove; do NOT leave off the o-rings, even though it looks like you can, because those are what the shelves rest on. Pay close attention to the instructions, except for step 6 expanded view; the side panels need to go outside the back panels; the drawing makes it look like they go inside. But once I got it all together, it looks great! Well worth the price. And the most amazing thing about it is that 6 sheets of heavy glass, each 6 feet tall, were shipped from Georgia to Texas and had no damage. A masterly feat of logistics!. Jerry. San Angelo, TX. This cabinet is great and fits the space perfectly. I originally thought it would be more sharply corner-shaped, but the actual design ended up being even better because it allows more usable space inside the unit. We already have the first shelf almost filled and can’t wait to add more items! We’re really impressed with how much it holds so far. I assembled it completely on my own, and while it took about 2½ hours, the instructions were clear, straightforward, and easy to follow. I took my time and never felt frustrated at any point because everything was explained well and made sense. I highly recommend this cabinet for displaying collectibles. In our case, it will be used for anime figurines, and it looks fantastic. As a bonus, shipping was incredibly fast. I was expecting delivery on the 6th, and it arrived on New Year’s Eve instead, which was a very pleasant surprise. If I had to say anything “negative” about it, I would just wish that I could change the colors besides the whites and the blue but I’m sure I could get strips on my own if I really wanted to.
