The stone parts came in one box, the mantle piece in another, and the heating element/fireplace in the third. It was so easy to setup! The entire unboxing, putting it together and cleanup took just about 1 hour. I do recommend a second person to help with setup because it is a big fireplace over 5 feet wide and 4 feet tall. The fireplace comes with a remote control and you can change the color of the fire, the intensity of the heat, the brightness of the flame and it turns on and off with the push of a button. You can also use the fireplace without the heater turned on if you just want to enjoy the ambience of the fireplace. IIt is recommended for use in 120 volt 3-prong outlets. This fireplace has been such a wonderful addition to my home. I am disabled was able to do the very small amount of “installation” required by myself -one has to screw the legs onto the unit. As the unit itself is lightweight, all is provided, instructions are simple clear, this was a simple, very doable task. I use this fireplace every day. It adds a lovely ambiance to my living room that everyone comments on enjoys. It puts out quite a bit of heat for a smaller size unit, comes with remote control, has many options as well the ability to pair it with one’s phone. I highly recommend this product, particularly for anyone disabled like me or those looking for a smaller size unit that packs a big punch in every way. Love the top of this fireplace!! It’s hollow but looks beautiful. We love the look of this fireplace even the original color looked nice. The other reviews are true the panels chip very easy at the corners but it wasn’t a problem for us bc we wanted a black fireplace. It’s kind of silly we bought this to paint it BUT we loved the look just not the color we wanted plus it was on sale and other black fireplaces were over 1500 dollars so we saved 800 with a little labor..
