This lamp exceeded my expectations as soon as I opened the box! Right away, I noticed the shade was oval instead of the typical round. I did not notice that when I was making the purchase. The body of the lamp looks like real wood and metal, even though if you touch it, you can then tell it is not real. But it is very nice looking and even has a cute little finial that I didn’t notice was part of the purchase. The shade is a nice medium linen color and the body of the lamp I would say would be a medium colored brown.
