The only reason I’m giving this dresser a 4* rating is the customer service !!! I received it and a very big amount of the parts were damaged or broken. No questions asked, they sent me a brand new one! However, it’s a pretty poor quality. The drawers don’t slide in smoothly and get stuck all the time. There is a separate piece that goes in the frame of the face of the drawers and is not properly glued to the frame so it all moves as you open the drawers. I had to glue them all myself so it doesn’t drive me crazy every time I open it. If you are looking for a quality dresser- I would not recommend this one! I will start this review by saying if you are planning to use these as true drawers for clothes, it’s probably not the best option. I think it would work better for children’s clothes, but if you did put adult clothes in the drawers, I’d limit it to undergarments, socks, and maybe t shirts. The drawers are shallow. In addition to being shallow they are a pain to assemble, it’s the most time consuming part of the assembly process, so just be prepared. I separated the pieces because my bedroom wall wasn’t long enough to hold all three side by side, I used the middle piece with the glass doors as a small cabinet at the entryway of the house. Either way I’ve gotten lots of compliments on the set! I’m giving it 5 stars because I was using it mostly for aesthetic purposes, and the middle piece is great for extra storage. Usually, dressers have an MDF back, even super expensive ones, but not this one! Solid wood, through and through. The drawers aren't huge, but they're totally usable. I also liked the full color instruction booklet! The bolts and screws come vacuum sealed on these small, flat cardboard panels, all clearly labeled, and provide far more hardware than necessary! For those who struggle with assembly: just pay close attention to the booklet. It's very clear and well-labeled. The pieces themselves are labeled too. The package arrives in a big, rectangular cardboard box that weighs about 130 lbs. Since the pieces are packed so well, there wasn't a single scratch on the entire thing! A lot of thought clearly went into it. I noticed some other reviewers complaining about the camlock hole placement and the drawer alignment. It's a skill issue. First of all, the head of the camlock pins need to be positioned correctly in the camlock holes. If the pins are too deep or too shallow in the hole, the camlock won't catch. You can easily use a screwdriver to adjust the depth of the pins, and readjust as necessary as you assemble it. Just make sure you tighten them past the friction until they stop, and no further, otherwise you'll bend the camlock or even break the wood. Certainly no power tools. Second of all, on each of the drawer rails there's a little star-shaped metal piece that you can twist to align the drawers so they don't scrape against each other or the frame.. Marco. I like the fluted drawer design mixed with the simplicity of sleek drawer pulls. It has a good quality black painted matte finish. The drawer hardware comes oiled and is good quality.
