Excellent dresser! The colors were a bit darker than the reference image (I got oak). Still gorgeous! The dresser is mostly acacia with some rubberwood. Very heavy, very durable, very high quality. Usually, dressers have an MDF back, even super expensive ones, but not this one! Solid wood, through and through. The drawers aren't huge, but they're totally usable. I also liked the full color instruction booklet! The bolts and screws come vacuum sealed on these small, flat cardboard panels, all clearly labeled, and provide far more hardware than necessary! For those who struggle with assembly: just pay close attention to the booklet. It's very clear and well-labeled. The pieces themselves are labeled too. The package arrives in a big, rectangular cardboard box that weighs about 130 lbs. Since the pieces are packed so well, there wasn't a single scratch on the entire thing! A lot of thought clearly went into it. I noticed some other reviewers complaining about the camlock hole placement and the drawer alignment. It's a skill issue. First of all, the head of the camlock pins need to be positioned correctly in the camlock holes. If the pins are too deep or too shallow in the hole, the camlock won't catch. You can easily use a screwdriver to adjust the depth of the pins, and readjust as necessary as you assemble it. Just make sure you tighten them past the friction until they stop, and no further, otherwise you'll bend the camlock or even break the wood. Certainly no power tools. Second of all, on each of the drawer rails there's a little star-shaped metal piece that you can twist to align the drawers so they don't scrape against each other or the frame.. Marco. I absolutely love this sturdy, heavy dresser. It feels very solid and looks much more expensive than it is. The only downsides are that I wish the drawers were a bit deeper, and they occasionally stick when opening and closing. The hardware used for the drawer slides does not allow the drawers to glide smoothly, which seems to be the main cause of the issue. Also — this thing is an absolute BEAST to assemble. I saw a lot of mixed reviews mentioning misaligned drawers and bad pre-drilled holes, but that wasnt my experience at all. While assembly was definitely time-consuming and tedious, it was pretty straightforward, and everything aligned perfectly for me. The kit does come with a Phillips head screwdriver, but like most pre-packed furniture tools, the handle isnt very comfortable. If you dont have a nicer screwdriver already, Id recommend getting one because your hand will hurt after driving so many screws. I used a cordless screwdriver, which made driving screws into the areas without pre-drilled holes a lot easier, though you could definitely manage without one. The color and dimensions are 100 accurate to the product description online. However, as other reviews have noted, the drawers are on the shallow side. More importantly, the drawer slides are set up so the drawers do not pull out all the way. There is a good 4 to 5 inches per drawer that stays inside the unit when fully opened. I think this is probably a safety feature to prevent tipping, and for my needs—storing clothing like sweatshirts and sweatpants—it really doesnt matter. That said, I would not recommend this unit if you want to store something like craft supplies, as reaching smaller items out of the back of the drawers would get annoying. The drawers do feel a little bit flimsy and loose when pulling them in and out, which is where its most obvious that this is a flat-pack piece of furniture. However, I was able to fit them together easily, they are perfectly aligned, and they stay on their tracks without any issues. Holy moly that took maybe 6 hours to put together but I LOVE it!!! I’ve probably put 20 pieces of furniture from Wayfair together, and this was by far the hardest. I was nervous about the pre-drilled holes not lining up like in other reviews but mine were fine and honestly, the wood where the holes are is so thin you could easily drill your own. The only part I screwed up was step 3 with board number 5. Board 5 is smaller and the screws have unique placing so be sure to everything lines up perfectly when you get to step 5. This 3 Drawer Mid-Century Modern Dresser is a nice eclectic addition to my guest room. The dresser is solid wood, and comes partly assembled (the drawer slides are already in place on the drawer and side pieces), making assembly go that much quicker. It did take my husband and myself about an hour and fifteen minutes to assemble this. We did use an electric drill/screwdriver for some of the steps, but you can assemble just using a screwdriver and a bit of muscle. One of the legs for the dresser did have a big scratch in it, but we just faced that part towards the inside/back so it does not show. The drawers go in a bit hard at first, but after they are in the slides and are opened/closed a few times, they go in smoothly. Overall, this is a solid piece of furniture and should hold up well for a long time. I am contemplating purchasing two more of these to use as bedside tables in my primary bedroom.. Kimi. This dresser is stunning! A little on yhe smaller side but perfect for my space. I was able to put it together on my own and it took a little over an hour and a half.
