It's beautiful and sturdy. I got three of the two-door bookcases, and I didn't want to try putting it together with those glass doors. The assemblers did a good job. The only thing that's not as I was expecting are the lights. There isn't a pure white color light setting. The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. One heads up though, the package is HEAVYYY so be ready to have someone help you carry it in. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. I originally thought it would be more sharply corner-shaped, but the actual design ended up being even better because it allows more usable space inside the unit. We already have the first shelf almost filled and can’t wait to add more items! We’re really impressed with how much it holds so far. I assembled it completely on my own, and while it took about 2½ hours, the instructions were clear, straightforward, and easy to follow. I took my time and never felt frustrated at any point because everything was explained well and made sense. I highly recommend this cabinet for displaying collectibles. In our case, it will be used for anime figurines, and it looks fantastic. As a bonus, shipping was incredibly fast. I was expecting delivery on the 6th, and it arrived on New Year’s Eve instead, which was a very pleasant surprise. If I had to say anything “negative” about it, I would just wish that I could change the colors besides the whites and the blue but I’m sure I could get strips on my own if I really wanted to. This is a very nice cabinet. Assembly is the cam and lock style which is very common for furniture. If you've done that before, assembly is easy. If you haven't, just go slow and follow the directions. They are pretty self-explanatory. Assembly can be done by one person, but there are a couple steps where it would be helpful to have a second set of hands. We are using this as a shoe cabinet. Wayfair calls it a bookshelf, but I don’t think I would ever recommend it for books — the shelves are not adjustable and are way too short for books. They are perfect for our shoes, though! Even our boots fit nicely on the taller shelves. I am giving four stars because the construction of the doors, though cute, is not very sturdy at all. If you have active pets or kids I think they’re likely to break easily. Hopefully ours hold up since it’s in an out of the way location in our home, but only time will tell. We purchased the white shelving with gold supports. The quality is very good, and the set up was pretty easy - it probably took my husband and I about an hour and a half to put together, there are just a lot of parts! I was surprised that handles are silver, and not gold - looking back at the listing, this is how they were shown, I just didn't notice. It's a shame, because every other visible finish, even on the fasteners, matches the gold supports. Our daughter hasn't commented on it, so hopefully it's not a big deal - if it is, we'll have to try to find replacement handles.
