I’ve gotten several pieces of furniture in the past so I’m really used to putting things together. I had always had trouble lining up doors. The instructions for this desk are VERY CLEAR. It shows you exactly how to fix gaps. I got them right on the very first try!. The color goes great with everything else in my bedroom. I really love the detail on the front and the gold pulls. Not to mention an Alexa dotclock and a small plant! The built in power strip was a game changer. I was able to hide 4 cords in one cabinet on the back of the desk, thanks to the cable hole provided. Love the extra cabinets and display shelves on the “back” of the desk so I can have the desk face outward when I need a change of view. Assembly is hassle-free with clearly marked components and intuitive instructions.

I do like the desk. The assembly was not too difficult if you are accustomed to assembling furniture. I spread the assembly out over three days so I could take my time and not feel rushed. It would have been helpful if the “cabinet members” and “drawer runners” had been marked more clearly on each of the individual pieces. I made one mistake (well, two, can you guess) during assembly, and it was with the cabinet members. Clearer labeling would have made that part of the assembly easier.. Cheryl. Chula Vista, CA.
