I really like these fixtures, but wanted to add one word of caution. Because the decorative links are STEMS rather than chains, "adjusting the length" means using 1 or 2 stems. You are not given that much flexibility in the length. This was hard for us, because we found out that 1 stem made it too high and 2 stems made it too low. I just received my lampshade and unfortunately I did not pay attention to the measurements its very small and probably would fit a little night side lamp Im not sure what Im going to do with it now because the lamp I had intended for it will definitely not fit. Well this lamp shade has many problems. It requires assembly. That wouldn't be bad by itself but the clips on the lampshade do not even fully wrap around the lampshade frame. So they don't hold the lampshade and the frame just falls out all of the time. Not sure how this got through quality control honestly. You can't even place it on the lamp base without it all falling apart. Including photos to show how bad the clips are. The sizing of the opening is too large for my lamp but using one adapter in a different way under the frame allowed it sit on the lamp. I used needle nose pliers on the tiny clamps to try to keep the shade on the frame. Lets see if it holds but will likely return.
