After a year it is still standing after 2 winters in New England. Snow slides right off no more shoveling the shed roof off. I build a 12x12 deck platform out of 2x6 for this to site on and works great. The took a day with two people. It has held together pretty well. The 1 thing I hate the most is the doors. They really need to re-engineer the doors as they are junk. They slide and move, I think I will need to rebuild this summer and make them more solid. No leads, it holds the ATV and Lawn tractor.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall, I'm pleased with the shed I finished two days ago. We're using it as storage and a workshop while we convert our garage into a playroom for our kids. There are several things we like about it, including the design, ample space, affordable price, and the fact that it's easy to maintain with just a pressure wash. However, there are a few downsides. Since it's made of plastic, some of the pieces didn't fit together as smoothly as expected, despite my efforts to level the platform and deburr the edges. Specifically, some of the corner trim was slightly too long, which prevented the corner roof panels from fitting properly. Additionally, the holes in the top tiles didn't line up exactly with the main roof panels, even though the panels lined up with the trusses and walls. The window latches were also difficult to turn, and I had to trim the plastic inserts significantly to get them to work. I'll need to contact Lifetime to get a couple of replacement windows due to a manufacturing defect. Despite these minor issues, I'm satisfied with the shed overall. I did have some difficulty putting most of it together alone. The doors absolutely require two people, so it's definitely easier with help throughout. I'm glad I received good help with the doors. I didn't need to level or have any issues with the door assembly. I love the rolling double door and single door. It's great to open it up in nice weather and makes it convenient for ventilation when using a table saw and then blowing out the sawdust. The directions, YouTube video, and BILT app were helpful and straightforward. If you have DIY experience, it's not overwhelming, but it's still a big project that took me a full workweek to complete. There were a lot of screws and bolts, and it was much more time-consuming than the two other plastic sheds I've built before. I will be pulling an electric permit to run a subpanel for power and lights. I will also be building an internal wood frame. I am grateful for the product.. Benny. Portland, OR. Tue Apr 02 2024

Sturdy yet stylish, this product stands up to the elements and complements any environment. From organizing everyday accessories to storing large equipment and more, this durable and dependable shed covers all the essentials with ease. Features include steel-reinforced resin construction for superior strength and stability, reinforced floor for heavier items, and pad-lockable metal lever handles to keep contents safe.

The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together. Overall for price and size this shed is worth it. My only other suggestion would be to anchor it down to protect against adverse weather.. Anonymous. Cheshire County, NH. Mon May 04 2026

If you read line by line it will be pretty easy to install. Between 2 people it took about 5 hours with breaks along the way. Again read line by line. There was a few latches that oneone side were place differently than the opposite side. We got stuck here for about 30 min before realizing it was incorrect. Hardest part is the roof.. Sylvia. Spacious, sturdy, but the right end did not stack up well. We tried sliding it a few times unscrewing it re-screwing it hoping it would align better, but it did not. There’s a widening on one side- hoping moisture rain doesn’t enter the box.. Rosemary. Richmond, TX. Wed Aug 12 2026

After a year, I wanted to see how this shed lasts. I bought it because it is a very nice looking shed. It wasn't too hard putting together. 4 guys. Instruction book is okay. Lots of room inside. But, here are the issues. 1) The doors do not line up and opening / closing them is a bit difficult. I don't even open the left one and I have to smash the right one into place. 2) there is one skylight that leaks. I have caulked it and have no idea why it is still leaking. Or it could be a roof seam. Is it still worth buying? I say yes. I like Lifetime products. Now I have to see what the company will do about the issues.. Purr. Sun Sep 06 2026

Lovely shed! It was just the size we were looking for. We watched several YouTube videos on how to assemble and it helped.
