Solid wood materials. Color is true to the photo. Lots of storage space. The drawers are deep and wide. The fabric cushion on the seat is slippery so you’ll need to put a skid protector underneath it. I also decided the color was too dark so covered the fabric with something lighter. This toy shelf is super cute and holds a lot of toys. I wish there were more strings to hold in the stuffed animals because these are so far apart I feel like the toys can fall out easily. For the most part it is sturdy, it just has a little wobble when it is not secured to the wall.
