I like that the cushions are velcroed on so they don't slide, but be advised that any underside of a cushion is a sort of felt-type material that hangs onto dirt and dog hair. I haven’t had this couch for 24 hours yet but my initial impression is that I am highly satisfied. The cushions are firm (I wanted that), it sits fairly high so I won’t get stuck in it. I ordered an open box item and got a really good deal on the price. The couch is really nice. It was very easy to put together. The only thing I was a little disappointed on is it looks like someone set it up and possibly used it for some time because there were wear indicators on the bottom part where the cushion sit on it so it looks like someone set it up, used it and then returned it, but nevertheless, I feel like the first time I ordered a open box item and got a really good deal on the price. The couch is really nice. It was very easy to put together.
