The hamper is beautiful and the material feels nice. The biggest drawback is that it doesnt hold its shape unless its half full. You can never just drop a blanket in the bag. Let me level with you This is crazy money to spend on a laundry hamper. 150 is so many bananas, and Im almost positive that they sell laundry baskets at the dollar store. But Im a SimpleHuman Girly. I spent a full days pay on a SH trashcan when I was first starting out on my own. Guess what, though That trashcan sits in my kitchen to this day some 10 years later. So if this laundry hamper is half as amazing as their trashcans are, 150 seems more than reasonable. Regarding the actual product, its sturdy and has a decent capacity. I suspect the removable section will either be used every time I do laundry or never again - time will tell, and Ive only had it in my possession for all of 24 hours. I really like the Brabentia laundry hamper in the black color. It replaced an old white plastic basket type hamper like you might have used in college or at a public laundromat. The Brabantia handles a larger load even though it has a small footprint due to the vertical design. It fits perfectly in my small laundry room. The laundry is hidden inside which is what I wanted compared to the previous open basket. It's more expensive than some hampers, but it looks very stylish and modern. So, it's worth the higher price.
