It is very nice and more sturdy that I thought it would be. We didn’t bolt it to the deck because we didn’t want to drill into Trex. But we did bolt it to the house which worked good. Nice Pergola It’s solid but a little lower than I had envisioned. The front has a shallow gutter with ends open. I’m a trying to figure out how to hang a gutter. It’s very hard to drill. Very good service I appreciate the craftsmanship I did have to add some extra rain gutters to the outside because we live in Alaska and the weather is a little bit different I did some reinforcing for local snow loads which might be in excess of the engineered standards that were considered in this manufactured product.. This is a great pergola! I love that it provides an area of shade on my back porch without blocking the sunlight coming into my house completely. The roof itself is light filtering, which is great because it’s not completely blacked out. I love the curtains and mash liner so that I can enclose it if I need to or keep it open. The installation itself was not accurate according to the instruction pamphlet. It only needed two people, but took between six and eight hours to assemble. This is a great solution for my boring hot back patio. It created instant shade and great style to the area. We rarely used this space before installing this gazebo. It was pretty easy to assemble but took the 2 of us about 3-4 hours total. Some of the screw holes were not quite matched up. So we just redrilled them. We love the finished result.. Jackie. US.
