Our patio is very nice but it was in need of a 'structure'. I've always loved the tiki bar vibe and margaritas so we decided to turn this into just that. I read the reviews prior to purchasing and I'm glad I did. While most reviews were positive, there were some things mentioned that were a little concerning. Quite a few people mentioned they were missing parts/pieces, others mentioned it took more than 2 people to assemble as there are a lot of parts and pieces. Every time we moved on to another section I held my breath that everything would be there. Only my husband and I assembled this and it took us about 2 days. We didn't work on it consistently but it is quite a job. One thing you should note if you buy one...when looking at the instructions be sure to pay attention to the orientation of it in the pictures. It is sometimes hard to tell if you're looking at the front or back. We are still in the process of getting it set up the way we want (signage, chairs etc.) but look forward to entertaining and using it for such an event. Side note: Included should be a bottle opener AND paper towel holder but my paper towel holder was missing. Solid construction. Not quite like the picture. Screws are black, not gold, roof panel does not look exactly like picture either. Put together by myself in about 13 hours, from unboxing to last screw, not extremely handy but a decent DIY'er. I did needed about 10 minutes of help from my wife to align the brace supports from the posts to the frame. The most annoying part was taking all the plastic off the metal roof panels (Tip: Don't try to do this if the panels are too cold or too hot, you will be tearing off small pieces). Out of all the material I would say the roofing panels look good but are very thin, the framing structure is quite sturdy to brace the panels but wouldn't want much snow to build up on it, as I can see the panels sagging under the weight.. At first I was super upset when I got my packages. They were not handled as written on the box and had several puncture marks on them. Despite a piece of wood being bent and the roof tin having a few dents it still went to together just fine. I did it myself, female. It took me 3 total days. Half a day to organize things and almost 2 12 to build it. No regrets at all. Just pay CLOSE attention to directions as you go so you don’t have to go back and fix anything. This is beautiful. Just be forewarned, it's a royal pain to build it by yourself (minus the times you need at least 2-3 others to lift parts while building it).
