We currently have our nugget play couch on the trundle rather than a mattress, but will be getting a mattress for it. Love the bed, sturdy and seems to be constructed well. I added the assembly and the two guys that showed up were very polite and courteous. They also got the job done in 2 hours. My only issue is when the guys (hired through Handyman) were putting it together some of the wood frame pieces were taped together. Great bed! My 24 year old boys love it. I was able to put it together myself, took me a couple hours a day for a few days but definitely doable.
