This recliner arrived in two boxes and was surprisingly easy to assemble. The instructions were clear, straightforward, and easy to follow. From unboxing to setup, the process was quick and hassle free.
The chair is very comfortable and offers several features that make it versatile. It swivels, glides, rocks, and reclines smoothly. The reclining handle is a bit stiff at first, which is expected for a brand new chair, but it loosens with use. Even a child can comfortably pull the handle to engage the recliner. To reach the fully reclined, nap-friendly position, you will need to lean back and apply pressure with your body rather than relying solely on the handle. The fabric is soft and comfortable to the touch. I also appreciate that the cup holder is removable, along with the fabric attachment that holds it, giving the chair a cleaner look when desired.
Another advantage is its size. It does not take up an excessive amount of space and would work well in either a nursery or a living room. However, you should account for additional clearance behind the chair if you plan to use the full recline feature. For sizing reference, I am 5'5", and when seated in the upright position my feet rest comfortably on the floor. I find the chair supportive and easy to get in and out of without feeling too deep or oversized. Finally, the color is true to the product photos, which is always a pleasant surprise when ordering furniture online.
