All hardware included except a philips head screwdriver that you won't need if you use a screw gun for slats only. It is a very pretty and sturdy bedframe. I took a star off because they were not pre-drilled holes for some screws and that was unclear in the directions. It took me one hour and and and 45 minutes to put it together as one person. Also two of the side pieces were the same so I had to unscrew the brackets and switch them so they would become opposite side frames. The wood on the frame was a little bit darker than on the website which actually matched perfect with our doors in the house. We were moving, so although this bed came with white glove delivery, we were unable to have them set it up before as it needed to be moved to a new house. Because of that we had to build it ourselves. Unfortunately, a couple pieces of the hardware were not delivered with the bed, including 24 feet of the bed, but it was an easy enough fix to go get them from a hardware store. Size Purchased: California King Overall very content with this purchase. I live alone so assembly was a bit difficult but I managed by myself (6'4" dude), but for most buyers I'd imagine it would take two people to handle it. During assembly very important to leave bolts at joints loose so that they can be wiggled into tight fighting place at final stages. Prior to laying down the mattress on top, the smaller composite wood legs in the middle of the frame did not touch flush with the ground. However, with laying down the mattress and lying on it they support the weight and the frame feels sturdy/doesn't wobble.
