It's huge, a bit bigger than I thought. Great for a family, but if you're tight on space, then might not be the best option. It holds so much more than my other 'basket'. My previous one (pictured) held enough for the two of us for a week (more than enough), but I wanted something that was easy to roll from the bedroom closet to the laundry room so I didn't have to walk back and forth with each load. I added photos for comparison using my original basket and also a 5 gallon bucket for reference, along with one in the doorway. Easy to put together, seems sturdy and wheels easily. I'm just under 5' tall and I can just reach to the bottom of this new one. I do wish that the material was more canvas like. It is a bit plastic-y so I hope it holds up. This is a very nice laundry basket. There are two sections to sort as you go. It's made with a steel frame and a well made canvas bag. The bag has handles if you want to remove it from the frame.
