This shelf insert is very nice. It’s heavy which makes it feel like quality. The white finish is flawless. The shelves are already built in so no assembly required, which is fantastic. Great product and fit, finish very nice. Price was a bit higher than the value but we really needed the extra storage in our bathroom. All dimensions spot on. Soft close doors and shelves work as designed, however the glass shelves are a bit clumsy and not as stable as wooden shelves. Still turned out really well except we needed to complete a frame-in modification as the studs were spaced at 24” vs 16”, otherwise all good. Wow! This is cute. I was scared because I had to cut my drywall to recess it into the wall. I found my studs, marked them, centered the shelf in-between. I had my daughter hold it up, i traced it with a pencil and cut it out with a drywall knife. It slid right in. I screwed it to the studs....so easy. The whole process took 20 minutes. I love it. Perfect for any bathroom. Recesses in the wall between the studs, and simply screws to the studs on each side of the opening. Only the doors are outside the wall. Fully adjustable glass shelves inside. Our unique, patented design of shelf supports keeps each shelf in place. Concealed hinges with soft close built-in assuring the door will never slam shut but softly close on its own instead. The box is SOLID pine and the Inset Panel style door is SOLID maple. We’ve painted the inside of the box white, so you don’t have to! The door is primed and ready for you to paint it. The box is 3.5” deep inside and gives you plenty of usable depth, but fits in standard 2x4 walls. This model has TWO doors that open to reveal two separate cabinet sections. the Cabinet box is 12.5" wide inside. Doors are reversible to open either Left or Right. Completely assembled! All you need to do is put one screw in each hinge to mount the door. Then insert it into the wall and screw it to the studs with the included screws. If you are replacing a current cabinet, measure your wall opening! White plastic trim surround covers the rough edges of your opening up to 1/2" all around. Great solution to a bathroom remodel. Wall depth cabinet is a perfect medicine/storage space without having to buy an expensive medicine chest. Plenty of storage in two door model and small footprint are a big plus. The only downside is the quality of surface material. It’s a cheap laminate that dings easily, but we are pretty careful so not a huge problem. Attaching hardware caused a paint chip which I repaired with white out.
