I can easily pull it away from the wall whenever I need to access the outlets for the fireplace or my TV without any hassle. The stone parts came in one box, the mantle piece in another, and the heating element/fireplace in the third. It was so easy to setup! The entire unboxing, putting it together and cleanup took just about 1 hour. I do recommend a second person to help with setup because it is a big fireplace over 5 feet wide and 4 feet tall. The fireplace comes with a remote control and you can change the color of the fire, the intensity of the heat, the brightness of the flame and it turns on and off with the push of a button. You can also use the fireplace without the heater turned on if you just want to enjoy the ambience of the fireplace. IIt is recommended for use in 120 volt 3-prong outlets. Just finished putting together this electric mist fireplace. I wasn’t sure what to expect from it since I have never seen anything like it before and didn’t know how the watermist effect would work. But Wow! This is so cool. It has multiple different color options, fog density options, lengths of time that you can set it to, cycles it can run through, and it basically acts as a humidifier. It has a little bit of a noise with it since it has fans behind it that run, but it is in no way overly noisy so it could be covered with a running tv or music. It also has a bit of a water moving noise like any humidifier does but I don’t mind that at all and find it relaxing. This fireplace has been such a wonderful addition to my home. I am disabled was able to do the very small amount of “installation” required by myself -one has to screw the legs onto the unit. As the unit itself is lightweight, all is provided, instructions are simple clear, this was a simple, very doable task. I use this fireplace every day. It adds a lovely ambiance to my living room that everyone comments on enjoys. It puts out quite a bit of heat for a smaller size unit, comes with remote control, has many options as well the ability to pair it with one’s phone. I highly recommend this product, particularly for anyone disabled like me or those looking for a smaller size unit that packs a big punch in every way. This could have been a wonderful 5-star review ... if only the fireplace worked. The mantel looks wonderful. I love my room with it in it. But this is supposed to be an electrical fireplace, not merely a piece of furniture. It's supposed to heat the room and to display a realistic looking flame. It did none of that when I got it. The remote doesn't work at all. And ever since it arrived, nearly a month ago, I've been trying to get someone to help me fix or replace this. After a few phone calls they promised to send a replacement for the firebox. But then I got an email saying the replacement was canceled. It turns out that was an error. I did get a package, but I had no idea what it was. No indication it came from Wayfair. It didn't look like the firebox. It was some sort of transformer/converter, with all print in Chinese, which I can't read. I finally spent an hour on the phone with a very nice lady at Wayfair, and we figured out that the transformer fixed part of the problem. I got heat! But the remote still doesn't work and I can't access most functions. And if I turn the heat on, I need to burn my fingers to turn it off on the fireplace without the remote.
