I actually love the base, but it is definitely not white. I would say it is more of a yellowish cream with a taupe pattern through it. If you’re wanting pure white, this is not the vase. These rustic pots are lovely, and just what I was looking for. My only complaint is what is with all the excessive packaging! Seriously. These are rustic, somewhat pitted terra cotta pots. Not precious china. But I now need to dispose of a huge box of styrofoam pellets. Way overkill. They probably could have been shipped with a nice little wrap of bubble wrap, which they had, but then covered by a ton of styrofoam. Please remember that this is the only planet we’ve got. So far.. I love the look of this pot so much I use it as a little tool pot for various decor with other curated collections because it’s got such a great look!!!
