I have waffled on this between four and five stars. The chair is every bit as weighty and good looking as the pictures show. Not quite a chesterfield but chesterfield-like. The "faux leather" certainly feels as you would expect pleather to feel. I'm a fan of full grain leather typically but given the option of this versus a 2k+ chair of real leather it is a good compromise. I will say the following though as a "con" of sorts. There are a few comments here about the pitch of the seat. As an amateur woodworker I mistook this as not understanding that a proper seat needs pitch to be comfortable. The basic pitch (with the back locked) is a bit more than I thought it would be and I can see how a smaller person may not like it. I wanted a wide seated chair with a firm cushion as I spend a lot of time in it, I did want some sort of back support as I like to sit up straight. I understand what people are saying when they say there is 'no support'. I have to sit all the way back (I'm 5'4") to receive the back support. I bought a footrest and it seems to be helping with how close I have to sit to the desk to work (also changed out the wheels). This is a spacious chair! If you need the room, this is a great choice. Overall I think this chair is fantastic, exactly what I wanted / needed and a massive upgrade from what I had before. The leather feels nice and rich and overall I am happy with the build quality. The slight nitpicks I will mention though are, however, that the leather appears a bit thin when looking at the included square patch, though time will tell. The base where the rollers are attached is not a solid piece of wood but rather a metal frame covered in wood, this is both good and bad in ways. Good in that the cair is more sturdy and I am confident the weld will not fail, bad in that because the wood is laid over and not tightly secured, it can move quite a bit and leads to the piece feeling cheap. There is very little heigh adjustment range for the piston that is included, though they are upfront about this in the product specifications, only about an inch and the seat already sits higher than the average chair in my opinion. In addition some things to note that are neither positives or negatives, the seat and cushions are quite firm, though maybe they relax over time. The chair is also made to the average person, so people who are tall or short may find the chair slightly uncomfortable. Chair is rated to 250 lbs and I'd say that is probably accurate, the seat is not narrow but if you are wider at the hips it may be a struggle to sit properly. This chair is SO comfortable! The Material is an amazing quality, and is such a smooth soft faux leather. The padding and cushioning of the chair is just right for sitting many hours at a time comfortably. My favorite feature is the width of the chair seat. I like to sit with my legs crossed and there is plenty of room for this. The chair rolls and turns very smooth. The electric recline is a really nice touch if you need to kick your feet and and relax for a bit. I do wish the foot rest would raise on its own, but in order to pull the foot rest up, you also have to recline that back, so that is the only thing I would change about this chairs design. The chair has a battery pack so you do not need to keep it plugged in to use the electronic recline feature. I really like this chair. It is comfortable and looks nice. The cushion seat and back are comfortable with plenty of room. The legs were a little tricky to put on but if the instructions would have been a little clearer on how to twist them in place (wheel part) it would have gone easier. However once accomplished all was good. I have had it a few months now and am glad I picked the black fabric type as no sliding around like those slick material chairs. All in all, am happy with it.
