I just replaced my previously purchased Kwikset lock due to internal failure of the Cylinder lock. The cast area of cylinder retention (Snap ring Groove) in the Chassis failed and the Cylinder lock fell out when the key was removed. No external damage to the cylinder lock or Chassis was noted. The lock lasted 8 years installed with daily use. I believe this was a one-off manufacturing material failure so I replaced it with the same model. The removal & installation very easy as was use of the key Kwikset system. The lock provided smooth operation up to the point of failure.. Edn22. Davie, Fl.. Mon Jul 06 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This came out looking great. Always wanted to use black door handles over the traditional chrome. Installation very easy since the house already came with the Kwikset. Design is amazing and it feels well made.. Davidn63_8096. Thu Feb 27 2025
