To say that a picture doesn't do justice to this fountain is a gross understatement. For one thing, the blues player is eight feet tall...in the photo, it appears to be about eighteen inches tall. The strings on the bass are actually one-inch thick copper pipe and the four jets are shooting approx. Two feet in the air. This sculpture was created for a patron who lives out in California and a short chapter in our book, a passion for metal, addresses this piece.

I wired the lights into my existing low voltage patio lights for convenience as it comes with separate cords for the pump and lights. I am a huge fan of iron art, and I love the phoenix. Not a normal yard art statue that you would find. Lots of egrets, herons, and peacocks. So when I saw this, I was absolutely thrilled. And when it arrived, even more so as the colors are absolutely brilliant. The pieces were very well packaged with bubblewrap and cardboard to avoid damage in transit. It was very easy to assemble and doesn't appear to easy come apart. They even included a "U" shaped stake to help keep it in place. Pretty well made fountain. The only issue is the pump (even at the lowest setting) pushed the water out much too fast causing an excessive amount of spillage and a non-soothing sound.
