Set up was fine . Please note that you can just plug into an electrical outlet . You do not need to “hard wire it” as the description says. It is easy. However, the unit has a defect! The fake copper lip that the water falls from is NOT LEVEL ! Therefore the waterfall will never be like the picture in a nice V fall. I wired the lights into my existing low voltage patio lights for convenience as it comes with separate cords for the pump and lights. Bought open box item that had been used and did some modifications. The 3 sponges that are glued into the 3 bowls had too much epoxy holding them in taking up a 3rd of the opening and leaving very little sponge for water to run through so they would clog easily. Took sponges out. Ground excess epoxy out of bowls with dremel tool. Put pump in small plastic container with lid. Cut hole in lid for pump hose. Cut hole in back for power cord and drilled multiple holes all around to let water in. This fountain is beautiful and I love the sound of the water running. The color is more gray stone than brown. The photos are a little off on this. No greenery is provided for the top section.
