Just put it together today (by myself, mind you!), so I can’t speak to the quality long term, but it’s perfect for what I need right now. Took me an about 2 hours to put together - lining up the heavy top was a little bit of a struggle, but i got it after a few adjustments. It’s heavier duty partial board, but the coating on it seems like it’ll hold up well. I received the kitchen island with extendable dining table which had a few challenges during assembly. One of the board was not milled with the cut outs to fit the other piece together. I contacted customer service and they contacted the manufacturer. The manufacturer sent the correct piece which took about a week to receive. During assembly, there were some areas where the pre-made holes for the screws were not lined up and required some drilling to correct. Once the island was assembled, it looked great and was sturdy. Behind the two doors is an adjustable shelf with ample storage and the drawer is wide and roomy. There is a towel rack at the end of the island and the extendable table pulls out easily and provides enough room for two adults to sit. I love the fluted wood design and the gold fixtures stands out nicely from the white. A medium brown plank-style top caps a deeply aproned table base in milk white for an attractive two-tone finish. Four felt-lined drawers offer convenient storage for napkins and placemats, utensils and trivets. Light weathering on the edges increases this set's informal appeal.

The set is great so far. Color works well with our color scheme and the counter-height bench and chairs can also be used for seating at our kitchen counter. Our only complaint is with the provided assembly service. First, one of the delivery guys dropped a drawer when they turned over the table. Second, when they left they handed me a bag with extra washers. My husband realized later that they didnt use the washers on the bolts attaching the legs to the chairs so hes having to reattach the legs to the chairs They also stripped a few screws in their rush to assemble the set so it will be difficult to fix the washer issue. I’ve owned a brown square counter height table for about 8 years. Disliked it since day one and when I came across this farmhouse one, I was excited. The day it arrived, the delivery guys put everything together and I think it took them no more than an hour. I highly recommend having them put it together for you. Had no issues with parts and nothing was damaged. But most of all, it is a heavy table. Not completely solid wood but close to it and will last longer than my previous one that’s for sure.
