This piece definitely took more time and problem-solving to build than expected, a little over three hours total. The finished product looks really nice, and the color is beautiful. I especially love having both extra storage and a hidden trash can cabinet, which makes the space feel much cleaner and more organized. The assembly process was a bit more involved than I anticipated and required some patience and careful attention to detail. A few areas needed some adjusting during setup, particularly around the cabinet doors, to get everything aligned and opening smoothly. Once everything was properly positioned though, the final result looked great and felt sturdy. One thing to keep in mind is that this is not a quick or beginner-level assembly, so taking your time during the build will definitely help. Ordered and came very quickly. Went together fairly easily, be careful when your using the screws i got the sizes mixed up and had to redo. Pay attention. The island is very sturdy and I love the fact that you csm roll it around where you want it. It is also very nice to have your trash can hidden. It does not hold a real big trash can but I think is a good thing because it has to be changed more often and trash does not sit long. Has plenty of storage and towel rack on side. This was very well built! The instructions to build it were clear (although I took my time over a few days to build it as it did come in very many pieces) and I honestly enjoyed the process. The color is a beautiful blue-ish/green-ish grey (it may be my kitchen's lighting, but i would say the color leans slightly more to the green side of the scale vs the blue side, but I really like this) and it pairs beautifully with my Ruggable rainbow rug which it sits on. I had a somewhat large bill of items I needed this piece to have, including lockable caster wheels, a trash compartment and multiple drawers and hidden shelves. It had to bonus of some open shelves as well, and I love the design pop of texture on the front-center drawer. I'm also totally happy with the hardware, though I love that I can add my own customization by switching out the hardware later. It's also cool that it has the outlet for optional install, though it's not relevant for my purposes. Our new apartment gave us the challenge of having few cabinets (and half of those there are are weirdly shaped and hard to access the full space of), so this island had to preform a lot of tasks. The packing on this was atrocious. As soon as I opened the box, it looked like it had been used, and somebody threw all the pieces back in the box in a rage. Half of the screws were thrown out through the box, thank God I found them all. About half of the pieces were either broken or chipped on the corner. I’m surprised I was able to actually get the whole thing together. The directions were also a nightmare, not only were they just incorrect, but the pieces were even labeled wrong. The cabinet is nice, not super duty but def stable when for my home. The tilt out trash can we love. I wish the cupboard side had shelves, that would’ve been nice. As it is there’s a huge area of wasted sauce that shelves would’ve helped to make useful. Also it’s not white, it’s cream with faux wood paint, so just plan accordingly. Overall, I’m really happy with this trash can cabinet. Assembly was fairly straightforward overall, though a few parts of the instructions were a little confusing to understand at first. Once everything was sorted out, setup went smoothly and took a little over two hours. The color looks beautiful in person, and it comfortably fits a large standard kitchen trash can, even one with a lid, which I was pleasantly surprised by.
