I love this cabinet. It worked perfectly with two other pantry cabinets I already had. I used this one in the center. I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons. 1. The lights are only colored lights and there is no neutral white light. 2. There is a large hole in the center of the back to run cords. But it isn’t necessary, because it has the usb and electrical plugins on the surface of the unit. The hole needs something tall in front of it to cover it. Would be easier if the hole wasn’t there!. Overall we are pretty happy with it. There is some significant gapping between the doors/drawer and a couple imperfections on it though. We were happy to know that there is already a hole for the 'microwave cubby' but I don't think it's there in the main pictures so just something to note. The doors are also soft close/a bit tight/mechanical. It was what we expected for the price. Took my boyfriend probably about an hour to put together. Very pretty storage cabinet. I purchased it in black. Very sturdy, looks great in my kitchen, and fit the bill for what I wanted. It was fairly easy to put together, with all pieces made available. I am not using this as a microwave stand, instead using the place designated for the microwave to store my canisters. I use the top shelf to place bread/rolls and bakery items. Took two of us quite a bit of time to build, and we have lots of extra screws, cams, etc. Not sure why. The LED light is colorful (lots of color choices) but warm or bright white is not one of them. I really like the size of this island—it fits perfectly in my kitchen and is exactly what I needed to add workspace and storage. It was inexpensive, so I was not expecting high-end materials, but the countertop has a very shiny, plastic-like coating and looks more synthetic than the “natural” finish shown online. The biggest disappointment is the drawers. The description of the drawers as “deep” is misleading, since they are only 13 inches deep and leave about 9 inches of unused space behind them. The drawer slides also catch and do not open smoothly, despite the advertised “smooth-glide” hardware. Properly fitting, smoothly operating drawers would have made this a five-star product.
