It was perfect for my island range. The only detail that should be noted is the the covers are welded solid and can not be separated to slip on at the end. This makes the assembly a little more complicated for balance and holding for the final mounting and you have to use both parts so that they can be installed which makes it hang about 2 inches lower.. This thing is pretty amazing actual. My only complaint is the dial to raise and lower the hood/CFM speed. The metal dial itself is of nice construction but the black bezel that surrounds it feels cheap.. Sean. Topeka, KS. Tue Jan 26 2021

Well I have it out of the box the reason for this purchase was I have tall ceilings and I needed a exhaust fan that I didn’t have to figure out how to get additional pieces or have to build down from the ceiling to close the gap. This fan assembly fit that bill it’s also a rental property and so I didn’t want a glass unit even though I have one like that and like it a lot this unit is more “renter friendly” and safe no ones going to break it.. They had a similar model for same price but that one had 2 lights and the buttons below the glass. This has 4 lights which provides just the right amount of bright light and has the buttons above the glass to keep clean. Fan action works fine, not quit but not loud in my opinion. Would highly recommend this model!. Mark. Albuquerque, NM. Sun Mar 17 2019
