This kitchen island from the drop top to the trashcan is wonderful to have in the kitchen. It has given me extras space to work on and I love all my pantry stuff right at my fingertips. It came well packed. It did take the whole afternoon to put it together. The only issue was the hole for the dowels didnt line up most of the time. They were off just enough for some frustration. They also put a middle wheel for stability but you cant reach it to lock it ot unlock it. I do recommend this island, I love the prep space and everything at your fingertips.. Tammy. Midland, MI. Ordered and came very quickly. Went together fairly easily, be careful when your using the screws i got the sizes mixed up and had to redo. Pay attention. The island is very sturdy and I love the fact that you csm roll it around where you want it. It is also very nice to have your trash can hidden. It does not hold a real big trash can but I think is a good thing because it has to be changed more often and trash does not sit long. Has plenty of storage and towel rack on side. Only drawback is the towel hanger was damaged today because someone bumped into it and one side came completely off. So I had to use longer screws to put it back on. This is a great product. It’s wasn’t difficult to put together but it took a long time due to so many pieces. It took about 5.5 hours to assemble for one person but I think would be quicker and easier with 2 people. I gave it four stars because the trash bin drawer is a little shaky so we added L brackets to give a little more stability to the drawer. Overall I think this was a great purchase.. Sandra. Quality of the product is good although the counter top has gotten scratched. The one think I was disappointed with, is the information on the item not disclosing that it requires power for the ionizer. I scoured the product page extensively because I was concerned about that. This was very well built! The instructions to build it were clear (although I took my time over a few days to build it as it did come in very many pieces) and I honestly enjoyed the process. The color is a beautiful blue-ish/green-ish grey (it may be my kitchen's lighting, but i would say the color leans slightly more to the green side of the scale vs the blue side, but I really like this) and it pairs beautifully with my Ruggable rainbow rug which it sits on. I had a somewhat large bill of items I needed this piece to have, including lockable caster wheels, a trash compartment and multiple drawers and hidden shelves. It had to bonus of some open shelves as well, and I love the design pop of texture on the front-center drawer. I'm also totally happy with the hardware, though I love that I can add my own customization by switching out the hardware later. It's also cool that it has the outlet for optional install, though it's not relevant for my purposes. Our new apartment gave us the challenge of having few cabinets (and half of those there are are weirdly shaped and hard to access the full space of), so this island had to preform a lot of tasks. I would have given this island 5 stars , even with the little scratches, after all it came from China, eventually to my house in non broken pieces. And there probably wouldn’t have been any scratches if the green paint wasn’t so thin . The design is very nice, the engineering is impressive, all the holes lined up perfectly , unit fit together well, Instructions were pretty clear. The major thing was the back of the island , it is 4 very thin panels that were held together by sliding the panels up into a little black strip. Some one sitting on that side eventually would swing a foot into to it , don’t know about holding together, we’ll see . The cabinet is nice, not super duty but def stable when for my home. The tilt out trash can we love. I wish the cupboard side had shelves, that would’ve been nice. As it is there’s a huge area of wasted sauce that shelves would’ve helped to make useful. Also it’s not white, it’s cream with faux wood paint, so just plan accordingly. The rolling island has been great for our kitchen. I love to be able to roll it out of the way and the electrical outlet/usb has been great. I also like the hidden trash and the cabinet holds quite a bit. However, I will say it feels a little flimsy for the price, the back and sides of the cabinet are a thin material and the top is also very thin. I purchased this island to use in my craft room. Like all RTA furniture, it was a process to put together-this is shipped as a flat box shipment; nothing is pre-assembled. My husband and I worked together and completed it in about two hours. Overall, we had little issue; the instructions were clear (enough) and everything was marked as it should be. The quality is as it should be for the price point. The reason for a 4-star rating is I have not really started using it but it appears it is going to serve the purpose for which I intended…more counter space, room for my granddaughters to join me in craft-making, and not overly big..
