The cabinet is nice, not super duty but def stable when for my home. The tilt out trash can we love. I wish the cupboard side had shelves, that would’ve been nice. As it is there’s a huge area of wasted sauce that shelves would’ve helped to make useful. Also it’s not white, it’s cream with faux wood paint, so just plan accordingly. Great for the price! I added the assembly which I do not regret because he did it so fast and I’m a terrible builder. The woodmaterial is pretty thin but what I expected for this price. I gave it 4 stars because the light doesn’t turn off. There’s a switch that turns everything off - the lights and all the appliances plugged into the built in outlet. This was a great upgrade for our kitchen. I love the addition of usable counter space in what was previously unusable space. Quality of the product is good although the counter top has gotten scratched. The one think I was disappointed with, is the information on the item not disclosing that it requires power for the ionizer. I scoured the product page extensively because I was concerned about that. Love this! I have a small kitchen and wanted an island I could use as a table. I looked at several before deciding on this one for the following reasons: 1. Drop leaf supported by solid brackets. 2. Trashcan door. 3. Fake marble top is more moisture-proof than others I looked at. 4. Locking wheels. 5. I didn't need an outlet on it. I put this together by myself (f,70). It took me most of a day as I leisurely assembled it. Instructions were good. I had one set of drawer slides backwards, but easily fixed. Piece (#37), that paper towel brackets go on, has holes different distances from the edges. Since you put this piece on while the table is upside down, the holes closest to the edges go closer to the floor (the top of the table). I had it backwards and the trashcan door hit the paper towel roll whenever I opened it. I was able to take things apart and flip it over. I had a little trouble getting the top seated properly, but with some pushing of the posterboard-like pieces (#14/#15), it slipped into place in the slot on the top. The bottom hinged door is slow close! I love having the extra storage space. It's very solid. I bought 2 bar stools to go with it. I couldn't be happier. 5 star. Very sturdy. I’m 56 single female and I put it together myself in 4 hours. But i’m also a virgo and very organized. Directions were easy to follow. This kitchen island from the drop top to the trashcan is wonderful to have in the kitchen. It has given me extras space to work on and I love all my pantry stuff right at my fingertips. It came well packed. It did take the whole afternoon to put it together. The only issue was the hole for the dowels didnt line up most of the time. They were off just enough for some frustration. I could not be happier with this piece of furniture!!! It is SO well-made and beautiful, and thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions I was able to put the whole thing together myself. Part of the reason I know it is so well-made is because some of the invidual pieces were so heavy. I also switched out the knobs for knobs that I purchased separately.
