It’s surprisingly sturdy, too, with a weight capacity that can handle three people without feeling flimsy. The cushions are made of that olefin fabric, which is great because it doesnt fade in the sun and handles the occasional drizzle just fine, plus being able to zip off the covers and toss them in the wash is a lifesaver with kids around. Just a heads-up, though the cushions are definitely on the firmer side, so dont expect them to be super squishy or like a living room sofa. Assembly is a breeze and can be done in about 10 minutes by one person, as everything you need comes in the box. I really like this sofa. I got royal blue and it really looks great on my deck. It was packaged great and only took about 30 minutes for 2 people to assemble (the only reason you need 2 people is so one can hold pieces while the other screws them in). All the holes lined up and the parts were perfect. I really wanted a high-backed sofa so I could have my neck supported and doze more easily - and they perfectly fits the bill. I only have 2 minor issues. As another reviewer said, the fabric is scratchy. Now, it's waterproof so It's not going to be super soft but I didn't like the way it felt on my bare arms. It's also hot, which I attribute to the waterproof nature negatively affecting breathability. But, it holds the heat of the day for quite a while after the sun has set. I found the cushions to be thick, firm, and very nice otherwise. But I could slightly feel a vertical bar behind my end/back cushion and it bothers me every now and then. I am a large person but not heavier than the weight capacity of the sofa (by far) so I don't know if my discomfort had to do with my size. I did not purchase the Carolina ottomans - the ones you see in the photos are by the same company but are called Gaetanino Wicker Outdoor Ottoman - I love them. I recommend this sofa!. Lisa. This patio furniture set was a game-changer! I received numerous compliments on it. The dark brown color is versatile and pairs effortlessly with rugs and umbrellas. I had a slight concern about the wicker attracting wasps, but the polyethene wicker material proved to be a lifesaver. It’s incredibly easy to clean and maintain. My only minor issue is that the handwoven design makes it a bit challenging to remove fallen leaves, twigs, or pollen that get trapped in the glass coffee table’s frame. Assembly was relatively straightforward, but using a screw gun would have sped up the process. Surprisingly, the cushions are incredibly comfortable.
