It is quite heavy, being 15” thick. It is extremely comfortable, with the perfect amount of plushness and firmness. It was time to replace my 2012 queen W Bed pillow top mattress (made by Beautyrest). Tried the Black hybrid cushion top (the W replacement) but it was much taller (13" v 14.5") which I did not like for my platform bed frame. Switched to the World Class non-pillow hybrid (13"), though I really liked that cushion top and I normally find foam beds too hot so was uncertain. I admit the first couple nights I wasn't sold but by night 3 I was sleeping like a baby again and wasn't hot. Because the mattress is 1/3 foam, it is heavier than my old mattress.. David89. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s a pretty thick mattress and medium firm. We had to get rid of our box because it was to high up for us with the type of bed frame we had.
