The material is good and quite suitable for small birds like parakeets and conures. However, the manufacturing could be improved to make it mess-free. It's a decent cage but came with some screws that were not really ideal for putting it together. Also instructions were a little vague but not too hard to figure out and takes longer than 45 minutes to put together even with 2 people even using a power drill. Also power drill is a must since they only made holes on one side of it to put together. Also, there could of been better attachment pieces for the top and bottom without having to add locks on it. Pretty well constructed. Everything fit together nicely. Directions are a bit vague at times. But my 16 year old daughter assembled it completely on her own with the tools provided in the kit. Fit and finish is nice. Rather sturdy for a wire cage versus a wrought iron cage. But thats why the price is half of a wrought iron. My bird loves her new cage. I’m still adding toys and rearranging, there’s lots of room and I want her to have fun navigating various perches and from one side to the other. The only thing that I would change are the food and water cups that are designed for the food doors. on this cage. The cups are much taller and more narrow than standard bird feeder cups. They require a bird to almost stand on their head to extract food or water, and make water cup baths impossible. The assembly was easy, and all the elements were labeled and present.. Anonymous.
