I bought this bed specifically for the storage underneath and the drawers are tiny. It's very deceiving. They might hold a few pairs of socks and underwear and they also aren't on a track, so they just slide around. If this bed ain't take hours to put together I'd return. I purchased this bed for occasional use in a smaller guest room, and it works well for that and looks attractive. The complaints about the headboards being wiggly and not coming together at the corner are completely deserved. I actually had to bolt the headboards together because they simply did not seem sturdy enough for guests to lean and relax against and the gap looked bad. Also, the instructions are bad, treacherously bad. Do yourself a favor and read the entire directions several times though because the diagrams are not sufficiently drawn on every step to know which direction the headboard feet are supposed to be installed. Also, if you dont have a ratchet with hex keys, you will absolutely want one to save your sanity. If this bed came pre assembled and the headboards came togetherdidnt wiggle, it would be 55. As experienced in reality - minus one star for having inadequate instructions and minus one star for forcing me to drill through and bolt the headboards together with a heavy duty 5 bolt.. Anonymous. We bought 2. They were a long assembly. They are nice though. Seem to be good quality. The drawers hold quite a bit and there’s plenty of open storage behind the drawers. I was able to assemble almost the entire bed myself. My husband only had to help me carry the bookcase sections upstairs because of their size. For the price, I think this bed is an excellent value.
