The King Size Upholstered Linen Headboard with Storage, Charging Station and LED Light arrived with each part nicely wrapped in plastic. The directions were 99% pictures with a few words on some steps. Assembly took a lot longer than my husband and I anticipated it would, which is why I didn't take any pictures of the assembly process. There is one step early on that says to not tighten the screws all the way until step 8. But once you get to step 8, it is difficult to tighten those screws with the allen wrench as there is not much room to actually turn the wrench. We have an adjustable Sleep Number bed, so we were not able to use the included brackets to attach the headboard to the frame of our bed. But the headboard does fit nicely between the bed and the wall and is stable without being attached to the frame, and it still allows us to raise the head of our bed without affecting the headboard. We downloaded the app for the lights, and it works nicely and you can have the lights come on and turn off at a set time through the app. We ended up using the USB-A slot in the charging station to plug the LED lights into, instead of running the plug for the lights behind the headboard as we didn't have an open outlet behind the headboard after plugging in our bed and the headboard plug. Which works fine for us and currently we don't have anything else sitting in the storage area on the headboard. After reviewing many headboards I’m glad I bought this one. For the price it’s a great investment. It’s sturdy and I love the bookshelves on the endcap, it’s big enough for a frame and to place a water bottle at night. In the week that I’ve had the headboard I’ve noticed that it definitely needs to be dusted weekly. Just wish it wasn’t made of mdf, but again, what do you expect for the price, you can’t beat it. Very nice king size bed frame, but it has SO MANY PIECES.. it took us 4 hours to put this together. The drawers underneath are flimsy wire racks that have tiny plastic wheels underneath.
